The Opportunity

The Operations & Asset Management Directorate is at the heart of Ireland’s electricity system, bringing together expert professionals from engineering and commercial backgrounds. We’re central to delivering a secure, reliable, and sustainable power system and wholesale electricity market for the island of Ireland — and above all, ensuring the lights stay on.

Our mission is clear: support Ireland’s transition to 80% renewable electricity by 2030 and net zero by 2050. We manage real-time system and market operations, ensure financial settlement excellence, and engage directly with market participants. Through continuous improvement and innovation, we’re shaping a resilient, future-ready energy system that meets the evolving needs of all electricity users.

The Capacity Funding & Delivery team runs the auctions that secure the long-term capacity needed to keep the lights on and support Ireland’s transition to a low-carbon future, in line with the Climate Action Plan.

As Senior Compliance Analyst, you’ll be responsible for compliance and process management across Capacity Market and RESS activities, ensuring robust governance, effective controls, and consistent application of procedures. You’ll also mentor junior analysts, drive process implementation and improvement, and provide oversight of compliance across the Capacity, Funding & Delivery team.
