The Opportunity
This role will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful delivery of EirGrid’s offshore programme by managing the delivery of key regulatory, governance, and reporting workstreams. The role will bridge the interface between programme delivery and group regulatory compliance, ensuring that investment plans, incentive frameworks, and performance reporting are aligned with CRU expectations and internal governance standards.
The Team Lead, CTTOO, Offshore Programme Manager will support the Head of Offshore PMO and Head of Offshore Phase 1 in delivering this transformation by leading key workstreams across the Offshore Asset Readiness Programme (OARP), Pre-Operations, and Enduring Operations. The role will ensure that programme delivery is aligned with the CRU’s Offshore Revenue Model and EirGrid’s strategic objectives.
The role requires strong programme and regulatory management skills, the ability to lead cross-functional teams, and the capability to engage with senior stakeholders across EirGrid and the CRU. The successful candidate will be expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy and influence, managing complex interdependencies across a maturing offshore portfolio.

It plays a central role in enabling the organisation to meet its decarbonisation and infrastructure goals through the deployment of modern systems, data intelligence, and programme governance frameworks.

About You
Successful candidates will have:
- Asset Management Expertise
- Degree-level qualification with a minimum of 10 years’ relevant post-qualification experience.
- Proven experience in programme or regulatory management within large-scale infrastructure, energy, or regulated environments.
- Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and regulatory reporting frameworks.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on high-quality report writing and the ability to present complex issues clearly to senior stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate across internal and external stakeholder groups.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing complex programme interdependencies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines.
- Offshore Asset Management Expertise
- Experience in offshore wind, interconnection, or utilities.
- Familiarity with the CRU Offshore Revenue Model and investment gateway processes.
- Professional PMO or project management certification (e.g., PMP, MSP, MoP).
- Knowledge of high-voltage transmission infrastructure (110/220/400 kV) and associated technologies.
