Job Description

The Water & Energy Director role at Egis Group is a strategic leadership position focused on driving sustainable growth for our Thailand business. This role oversees business planning, financial performance, and operational excellence for the Water, Environment & Energy Transition Service Line. Water & Energy Director – Role Overview

Join Egis Group, a global leader in engineering and sustainable development, as Water & Energy Director for the APAC region. This strategic leadership role focuses on driving growth, innovation, and operational excellence within the Water, Environment & Energy Transition (WEET) Service Line.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vision & Leadership
    • Develop country-based business plans aligned with market trends and innovations.
    • Collaborate with APAC peers to create synergies and strategic alignment.

    • Manage P&L, revenue forecasting, and profitability targets.
    • Ensure effective delivery of operational and budgetary objectives.

    • Oversee planning, resource management, and talent acquisition.

Qualifications

  • Long standing expertise in urban water, storm water.
  • Expertise in the Energy field is a plus.
  • Experience in strategic planning and execution of projects.
  • Ability to win work and develop a small sized business to make it grow rapidly in Thailand.
  • Commercial knowledge of Thailand’s public and private clients.
  • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
  • Skill in examining tenders, market conditions and operational requirements.
  • Experience in sales and marketing.
  • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
  • Ability to develop financial plans and manage resources.
  • Ability to analyse and interpret financial data.
  • Ability to prepare financial reports, statements, and projections.
  • Knowledge of communications and public relation techniques.
  • Ability to develop and deliver professional presentations.
  • Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to communicate and interact with officials at all levels of government and clients.
  • Work effectively across a diverse multicultural multilingual community.
