Position Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Solar Sales Representative to join our growing team. In this role, you will connect with homeowners and businesses to educate them about solar energy solutions, provide customized proposals, and guide them through the decision-making process. Your goal is to help customers save money, reduce their carbon footprint, and transition to clean, renewable energy.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate and follow up on leads through in-person visits, phone calls, social media, networking, and events.
Conduct consultations to assess customer energy needs and explain the benefits of solar energy.
Present customized solar solutions, including cost savings analysis and financing options.
Prepare and deliver proposals, negotiate terms, and close sales.
Maintain accurate records of leads, prospects, and sales activity in CRM software.
Stay informed on solar industry trends, products, and policies.
Provide exceptional customer service from initial contact through installation and beyond.
Qualifications:
Proven sales experience (solar or renewable energy experience preferred, but not required).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
Basic understanding of solar energy systems is a plus (training provided).
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally.
High school diploma or equivalent (college degree preferred).
