The Opportunity

As a Senior Wind Turbine Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and optimising our onshore wind assets, ensuring safe and reliable performance across the lifecycle of each turbine.

Alongside a competitive salary and potential for an annual bonus, this role is primarily based at our #Meadowfield Service Centre in #Durham. You’ll work on-site, supporting operations and maintenance activities to the highest standards.

Who You Are

We’re looking for a Senior Wind Turbine Technician who is safety-focused, proactive and committed to delivering excellence in renewable energy. To be shortlisted, you need to offer…

  • Time-served Engineer (electrical or mechanical) with proven experience in operations and maintenance
  • AT/AE qualification under Wind Turbine Safety Rules (WTSR)
  • Electrical or Mechanical HNC/HND/NVQ or equivalent
  • Significant technical expertise gained through hands-on operational environments
  • Ability to work on-site at #Meadowfield Service Centre, living within easy commutable distance.
  • Equally important is a genuine enjoyment and enthusiasm for working in this field.
  • You must have a full, clean UK Driving Licence.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on wind turbines
  • Ensuring compliance with safety standards and WTSR requirements
  • Diagnosing and resolving technical issues efficiently
  • Supporting high-voltage switching and isolation activities
  • Collaborating with colleagues to optimise turbine performance
