The Opportunity

As an experienced Energy Regulation Senior Analyst, you’ll play a vital role in guiding our renewable assets through current and future regulatory compliance across the company and revenue optimisation. Your work will help us stay compliant and competitive in a fast-moving market.

You’ll gain exposure to GB codes including some European regulations (REMIT, EMIR etc), market registration for new wind, solar and battery assets, and compliance frameworks. This secondment offers the chance to deepen your knowledge of energy regulation and policy while sharpening your analytical skills in a dynamic and fast paced environment.

This is a 9 month contract and will be a hybrid role based in the UK, with flexibility to work from home and occasional visits to our London office or other UK locations as needed.

Who You Are

We’re looking for an experienced Energy Regulation Senior Analyst who is proactive, detail-focused and confident working across teams with a track record of bringing projects together. To be shortlisted, you need to offer:

  • A relevant degree or recognised equivalent qualification
  • Knowledge of UK electricity market regulations and trading
  • Experience in renewable energy sector
  • Strong commercial and analytical skills
  • Ability to interpret and communicate complex regulatory documents and frameworks

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Supporting the Energy Regulation manager with audits and investigations from regulators and system operators
  • Analysing the impact of current and future market rules on the business
  • Managing regulatory compliance through implementing robust Regulatory Compliance Frameworks Handling market registration for new renewable assets
  • Advising on changes from the Government’s Review of Electricity Market Arrangements (P462 etc)
  • Providing clear and succinct policy and regulation updates to internal business units
