Salary Range: $118,000 – $142,000 USD per year

Position Overview
We are seeking a Project Manager to join our San Diego team, specializing in civil engineering projects for solar and renewable energy developments. This role combines traditional land development project management with renewable energy expertise. The Project Manager will oversee projects from conceptual design through construction while managing budgets, schedules, client communications, and multi-disciplinary project teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, permitting, and construction support for solar and land development projects.
- Manage project scopes, budgets, proposals, and change orders to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and public agencies.
- Review and approve design plans and calculations for compliance with agency standards and project objectives.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and designers, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Support business development by assisting in proposal writing, client engagement, and relationship management.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (B.S.) in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum 8–10 years of civil engineering experience, including at least 3 years managing solar or renewable energy projects.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
- Experience leading design teams for utility-scale or commercial solar developments, including grading, drainage, stormwater, and site layout.
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and other civil engineering design software.
- Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills to coordinate multiple stakeholders and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with energy developers, EPCs, or power-generation site projects.
- Familiarity with agency permitting for renewable energy developments in California.
- Passion for sustainable infrastructure, renewable technologies, and the energy transition.
