The Role

You’ll take charge of mechanical design on diverse projects like commercial buildings, airports, and military facilities. From concept through construction, your decisions will shape how these spaces function, perform, and serve the people who use them.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and develop HVAC systems—your technical work will drive energy efficiency and comfort in large-scale buildings
  • Build plumbing systems from the ground up—ensuring reliability and code compliance from day one
  • Lead client meetings—so you can grow your influence and build long-term professional relationships
  • Visit job sites for inspections and measurements—giving you firsthand control and clarity on your work
  • Review and improve shop drawings—keeping your projects efficient and cost-effective
  • Create clear, useful technical documentation—ensuring every stakeholder stays aligned

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Florida Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 10+ years of HVAC and plumbing design experience
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering
  • Skilled in REVIT and industry-standard software
  • Strong in load calculations and energy compliance
  • LEED experience or certification preferred
  • Confident understanding of industry codes
  • Willing to travel for project site visits
