Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Manager-ESG Solutions based in Noida. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and nurturing business opportunities, managing client relationships, and crafting tailored sustainability solution strategies using EcoRatings’ products. You will lead sales initiatives, develop proposals, deliver presentations to prospects, collaborate with internal teams, and ensure the successful implementation of solutions to meet client needs while driving revenue growth.
This role requires ownership of the entire sales cycle—from prospecting to deal closure—while building long-term strategic relationships with enterprise clients.
Key Responsilities :
- Lead end-to-end sales efforts for EcoRatings’ sustainability and ESG solutions.
- Identify, qualify, and convert enterprise prospects within targeted sectors.
- Develop sales strategies and pipelines aligned with company goals.
- Conduct product demos, present ESG value propositions, and handle client objections effectively.
- Work closely with internal teams (Lead Generation) to deliver customized solutions.
- Manage CRM pipelines, forecast revenue, and track KPIs with accuracy.
- Maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify upselling/cross-selling opportunities.
- Stay updated on ESG regulations, sustainability frameworks (ESG, GRI, BRSR, CDP, CSRD), and market trends.
- Represent EcoRatings at conferences, client meetings, and industry events.
- Prepare proposals, commercial quotes, and negotiation documents.
Mandatory Requirements :
- 8–10 years of total sales experience, including minimum 4+ years in ESG, sustainability, climate-tech, or impact-driven SaaS sales.
- Proven track record of closing enterprise or mid-market deals.
- Strong understanding of ESG frameworks, sustainability reporting, and supply-chain compliance.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work onsite and travel for client meetings when required.
Preferred Qualification :
- Experience selling SaaS or data-driven solutions.
- Network within sustainability, compliance, or procurement domains.
- MBA in sustainability, or related fields.
