Role Overview

We are looking for a dynamic and results-driven Sales Manager to lead and expand our carbon credit and sustainability solutions sales. The ideal candidate will have experience in B2B sales, client relationship management, and team handling, with a strong interest in sustainability, ESG, or carbon markets.

Key Responsibilities

· Drive carbon credit sales and sustainability solution sales to corporates and institutional clients.

· Identify and develop new business opportunities and partnerships in the carbon markets and sustainability sector.

· Manage the end-to-end sales cycle including lead generation, client meetings, proposals, negotiations, and deal closure.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, sustainability leaders, and industry partners.

· Lead and mentor a small sales team, ensuring performance targets and revenue goals are achieved.

· Develop and implement sales strategies and outreach plans to expand EcoRatings’ market presence.

· Collaborate with product and marketing teams to align sales initiatives with company offerings.

· Represent EcoRatings in industry events, conferences, and networking forums related to ESG and carbon markets.

· Maintain accurate records of sales activities, forecasts, and pipeline management.

Required Qualifications

· 2–5 years of experience in B2B sales, sustainability consulting sales, carbon credit trading, or related sectors.

· Proven experience in team handling or sales team coordination.

· Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.

· Understanding of carbon markets, ESG, sustainability solutions, or climate tech is preferred.

· Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment and achieve sales targets.

· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, or related field (MBA preferred).
