Our quickly growing international team is looking for a Head of Sales (f/m/x) in our office in Berlin to manage the global sales team in the local subsidiaries in Sub-Saharan Africa, South and Central America and Southeast Asia. We are looking for an experienced professional, expert in the Solar PV industry, ideally in the C&I segment in developing countries and emerging markets. You combine technical knowledge, commercial skills and sales experience. Our ideal candidate has a record of accomplishment of demonstrated success in sales, as well as a positive and team focused attitude to grow, manage and improve the Sales Team and help it to achieve the company targets. In this role you will:

  • You will manage our international sales team in multiple countries.
  • You will support in negotiations with our customers and to successfully build a global EPC partner network.
  • You will develop the sales strategies according to the budgeted goals and maintain our IRR targets.
  • You will review and adjust ecoligo’s position in the market and adjust sales strategies accordingly
  • You will identify potential new markets and take decisions on existing markets and their continuation.
  • You will find future sales talent and grow the team to become global market leader.
  • You will be the reference person in the sales team for any questions and continue to coach the team to grow their sales skills
  • You will interact with other departments in the company to improve the collaboration and processes between the different areas of the company.
  • You will report sales progress, targets and forecast to C-Level.

Requirements

  • Having more than 7 years of experience in the Renewable Energy industry, ideally in Solar PV
  • Having experience in business development or sales activities in ecoligo’s active markets.
  • Successful sales track record in closing opportunities.
  • Understanding of client needs and market conditions to adapt ecoligo’s offer accordingly.
  • Being able to take on a lot of responsibility, build and optimize positioning of ecoligo in the market and make sure that projects are closed according to plan.
  • Fluent in English. Spanish desirable.
