Role Description

The intern will be responsible for primary data collection, field visits, stakeholder engagement, and preliminary data analysis to enable the design of sustainable waste management interventions.

Skills Required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of environmental science/waste management
  • Proficiency in MS Excel / Google Sheets
  • Field readiness and willingness to travel locally


Qualifications

  • Pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in:
  • Environmental Science / Environmental Engineering
  • Civil Engineering / Urban Planning
  • Social Work / Development Studies
  • Geography / Sustainability Studies
  • Strong analytical skills to gather, interpret, and analyze data.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to assist in reporting and team collaboration.
  • Candidates from other disciplines with strong field interest may also be considered


Eligibility Criteria

  • Available for full internship duration (4–8 weeks)
  • Able to travel locally for fieldwork
  • Own smartphone for survey/data collection
