HR Intern, Eco Nidhi | Mumbai (Goregaon, Hybrid) 6-Month Internship → Clear Pathway to HR Executive
India’s scrap ecosystem is moving from informal activity to regulated, data-driven infrastructure. At Eco Nidhi, we are building the digital backbone that makes this transition operational, measurable, and credible.
HR is not a support function here. It is a core enabler of India’s circular economy. The people you help hire, onboard, and develop will directly shape how materials move, how compliance is executed, and how recyclers operate across the country.
We are looking for a serious, experienced HR Intern who wants real responsibility in a fast-growing climate-tech startup, not routine paperwork.
You will help build the workforce that powers digital compliance, traceability, and recycling at scale. Your work will sit at the intersection of people, policy, and operations.
- Support end-to-end recruitment for operations, field, and partner-facing roles
- Assist in onboarding scrapyard partners, recyclers, and internal team members
- Maintain and digitize employee records, contracts, and compliance documentation
- Help design and implement HR SOPs for a fast-scaling startup
- Coordinate training sessions for field teams and partners
- Work with leadership on performance tracking and workforce planning
- Ensure HR practices align with employment laws and best practices

Important: This is a full-time internship, Monday to Saturday. In-college full-time students should not apply.
- You have completed a Bachelor’s or Master’s in HR, Business Administration, or related field
- You have prior HR internship or relevant experience (Freshers, please do not apply)
- You are comfortable working with tools such as Google Workspace, Excel, and basic HR systems
- You communicate clearly in English and Hindi
- You are organized, detail-oriented, and can work independently in a hybrid setup
- You are genuinely interested in sustainability, waste management, and circular economy
- Real exposure to India’s evolving EPR and Waste Management landscape
- Hands-on experience in startup HR, not textbook HR
- Monthly stipend and formal internship completion certification
- A comfortable work environment for the office days
- Structured pathway to transition into HR Executive within 6 months based on performance
- Opportunity to help build systems that will define how India manages resources in the next decade
