Job Overview:

As an Entry-Level Sales Associate, you will contribute directly to our growth by helping expand our customer base of commercial real estate owners, with a focus on selling energy efficiency projects. This role is ideal for a recent college graduate seeking to build a career in sales and business development within the efficiency sector. You will gain hands-on experience in prospecting, client relationship-building, and energy efficiency strategy development while collaborating with industry experts to help property owners reduce their energy consumption and environmental footprint.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Client Acquisition: Source and engage new clients, including cold outreach and lead qualification, to build a pipeline of potential commercial real estate partners.
  • Underwriting and Business Plan Development: Support the underwriting of energy efficiency solutions and assist in building business cases that demonstrate ROI for clients. Assist with on-site audits when necessary.
  • Proposal Development: Help develop tailored proposals with clear value propositions, collaborating on research, data visualizations, and insights to strengthen presentations.
  • Client Presentations: Assist in preparing and presenting information to potential clients, working closely with asset managers, acquisitions team and ESG practice leaders to create value for commercial real estate owners.
  • Energy Regulations and Industry Trends: Stay informed on industry trends, standards, and regulations impacting energy efficiency, using this knowledge to support sales efforts.
  • Path for Growth: Learn, develop and chart a path to move into a commission-based selling role.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Real Estate or related fields.
  • Strong interest in sales, with a client-focused approach.
  • Team oriented and competitive mentality
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Analytical skills and comfort with data interpretation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with CRM systems a plus.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a willingness to learn, grow and contribute to a fast-moving company culture.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of managing time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Passionate about real estate operations and sustainability.

Compensation & Benefits

  • $60,000 – $80,000 First year OTE including base and performance incentives
