The work of the Warehouse Lead is primarily at Cherry Street Energy's main warehouse located in Ellenwood, GA, with some time spent at Cherry Street Energy HQ's storage and office in West Midtown, Atlanta. This position will report to the Procurement Director, and it is a great entry-level opportunity to start a career in the solar industry.
Maintain accurate inventory and lead periodic inventory counts
Receive materials and equipment delivered
Pick and pack materials for new and active construction
Coordinate couriers to fulfill requests to active job sites
Update online systems for material and equipment incoming and outgoing
Responsible for cataloging materials returned to the warehouse from jobs and updating inventory to reflect the returns
Maintain physical and digital inventory of construction equipment
Keep warehouse spaces, materials, and equipment well organized
Responsible for fulfilling returns of equipment to vendors
Coordinate and maintain good relationships with staff at our 3rd party warehouse
Have one to two years of warehouse experience
Committed to learning all the different parts and components handled in the warehouse
