Senior Contracts Manager

Due to growth, we are looking for a Senior Contracts Manager to manage customer contracts from review to negotiation, ensuring compliance, and mitigating risks. The successful candidate will work with clients and sales managers to ensure that all agreements align with Eaton’s goals and legal requirements.
Key Duties
- Lead the review, drafting, and negotiation of customer contracts to ensure alignment with Eaton’s financial and commercial objectives.
- Identify and mitigate contractual risks, including payment terms, liability, and compliance obligations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to secure approvals and resolve contract-related issues.
- Build strong relationships with key customers to facilitate smooth contract execution and dispute resolution.
- Ensure contracts comply with Eaton’s policies, industry regulations, and laws.
- Maintain accurate records of all contractual agreements and amendments.
- Work closely with Finance to assess financial implications of contract terms (e.g., revenue recognition, pricing structures).
- Partner with business units to align contractual obligations with delivery schedules and resource planning.
- Develop and implement best practices for contract management to improve efficiency and reduce cycle times.
- Stay updated on industry standards and contractual norms to ensure competitive and compliant agreements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management with exposure to multinationals and project-based companies within engineering, procurement or construction industries.
- Tertiary qualifications in law, business or related discipline. Graduate Diploma in Law a minimum.
- Customer-facing experience, including negotiations and dispute resolution.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
- High attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing complex contracts.
