Finance Manager

Due to growth, we are looking for a Finance Manager to manage the financial performance of the Electrical ANZ division. Reporting directly to the Financial Controller, the incumbent will manage a team of dedicated accountants and build organisational capability to ensure that commercial and business operation objectives are met. Ideal candidates will come from a multinational corporation with experience working across a global shared services environment.
Key Duties
- Manage month end closing for the entire company, analysis of forecasts and actual performance, and operational metrics.
- Maintain a robust internal control environment aligned to corporate policies, IFRS/GAAP, statutory, and audit requirements.
- Act as ANZ finance lead for internal and external audits, remediation actions, and risk management.
- Lead and drive continuous process improvements and create and implement procedures to improve the internal control environment, streamline efforts and provide increased transparency of financial results.
- Partner closely with cross functional managers to support profitable growth.
- Provide financial oversight for projects, long term contracts, margin management, and working capital.
- Work effectively within a global financial shared services operating model
- Drive finance transformation through automation, standardising processes and digitalising reporting.
- Leverage SAP, Oracle, EPBCS, BI tools, dashboards, and analytics to reduce manual effort and increase insight quality.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of experience working as a financial planning analyst, or financial accounting analyst within a multinational environment, preferably manufacturing (any industry).
- Minimum 5 years of experience managing a team of accountants, or financial planning analysis.
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance or Accounting; CPA OR CA qualifications highly ideal.
- US GAAP, SOX experience highly ideal
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
