A globally active and fast-growing infrastructure platform with a strong presence across Australia, operating across PPP development, infrastructure advisory, precinct development and digital infrastructure are wanting to hire a Project Finance Vice President. The business has established operations in Sydney and Melbourne and is involved in delivering and advising on major infrastructure projects across Australia and international markets. With a growing pipeline of opportunities and continued investment across its core sectors, the firm is expanding its Australian presence and building out its teams across the investment team.


As Project Finance VP, you will play a key role across the full project lifecycle, leading financing strategy and execution across a portfolio of major infrastructure, energy and digital infrastructure projects. You will be responsible for developing financial models, assessing project bankability and returns, structuring debt and equity solutions, and leading debt raising and financing processes through to financial close. The role will involve working closely with investment, development, commercial and technical teams, as well as banks, institutional lenders, advisers and other capital providers. You will also support new investment and development opportunities, M&A and due diligence, while providing commercial input into capital structures, project risk and value creation. This is a highly visible role with exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to contribute across origination, investment, development and project execution.


Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 7-10 years’ experience in project finance, with exposure to infrastructure, energy and/or digital infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading financing processes, debt raising and transactions through to financial close.
  • Strong financial modelling, commercial analysis and capital structuring capabilities.
  • Background gained within infrastructure investment, development, project finance advisory or a related environment, with the ability to work effectively across a broad range of internal and external stakeholders.
