This is an opportunity to join an established international platform at a senior level, working across the financing and execution of renewable energy projects. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing financing strategies, structuring transactions and progressing funding solutions to support the delivery of a growing portfolio of renewable energy assets.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the structuring, negotiation and execution of project finance transactions across a portfolio of renewable energy projects.
- Develop and implement financing strategies across construction and operational assets, including debt financing, refinancing and capital structuring.
- Manage relationships with banks, debt funds, institutional investors, financial advisers and other capital providers.
- Lead financial modelling, investment analysis, financing scenarios and sensitivities to support funding decisions.
- Coordinate due diligence, lender processes, credit approvals and financing documentation through to financial close.
- Work closely with internal development, commercial, investment, legal and technical teams to ensure financing solutions align with project economics and delivery objectives.
- Support the negotiation of key commercial and financing terms, including debt sizing, covenants, security arrangements and funding conditions.
- Identify financing risks and opportunities, providing senior-level input into transaction strategy and execution.
Experience & Background
- Significant experience in project finance, ideally within renewable energy, power or broader infrastructure.
- A proven track record structuring and executing project finance transactions, preferably within a developer, IPP, infrastructure investor, bank or debt advisory environment.
- Strong understanding of project finance structures, financial modelling, debt sizing, lender requirements and financing documentation.
- Experience managing multiple stakeholders and coordinating complex financing processes through to financial close.
- Strong commercial judgement and the ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to engage with senior internal and external counterparties.
The Ideal Candidate
We are interested in candidates operating at VP, Director or equivalent level who can combine strong technical project finance capabilities with the commercial judgement and execution experience required to progress complex transactions.
