- Leaders from other industries are welcome, provided they possess relevant technical leadership experience and the ability to oversee engineering operations.
- Experience in electrical engineering, industrial energy systems or renewable energy projects is an advantage.
We are seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead technical strategy, engineering management and technology development for commercial and industrial solar projects in Czechia.
Our primary focus includes industrial rooftop solar installations for manufacturing facilities, metalworking companies and engineering businesses.
The CTO will be responsible for establishing technical standards, overseeing engineering teams and ensuring that business objectives are supported by reliable, commercially viable and technically sound solutions.
Executive Technology Leadership Responsibilities
- Define technical strategy, engineering priorities and long-term technology development objectives.
- Lead engineering teams, technical managers and external specialist consultants.
- Establish engineering review procedures, technical approval processes and quality standards.
- Oversee technical feasibility assessments, electrical system planning and project engineering.
- Evaluate technology solutions, equipment selection, system performance and technical investment decisions.
- Coordinate structural engineering, electrical design and grid-connection requirements with qualified specialists.
- Manage technical budgets, engineering resources, project risks and contractor performance.
- Ensure technical compliance with applicable Czech and European regulations and industry standards.
- Collaborate with executive management, commercial teams and project delivery functions.
- Strengthen technical governance, operational efficiency and engineering accountability.

Connections with Czech engineering consultants, electrical contractors, industrial facility operators, technology suppliers and energy-sector professionals are an advantage. Candidates who meet the management and technical leadership requirements may apply without an established local network.
