About Earthworm

Earthworm is a group of people who believes we can solve the big issues affecting people and nature today. We work in global supply chains impacting millions of people and places around the world to make the products we buy. We work on the ground, in forests, fields and factories, helping companies, farmers and communities find practical solutions together. And we know that, ultimately, trust and positive changes comes from people getting to work together, hands in the soil.

Your Role

As a Sustainability Data Project Manager, your day will be primarily focused on:

o Gathering data needs from internal teams and translating them into clear technical requirements.

o Leading data projects and managing relationships with external partners, including database implementations and process reviews.

o Managing and integrating existing database systems and workflows.

o Designing, implementing, and improving data processes end-to-end: from structure and collection to transformation, storage (ETL), analysis, and visualisation.

Your Profile

You're driven by a desire to create positive impact for people and the planet, and you see technology and data as powerful levers to get there. You also have a passion for local and regional development.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with or managing diverse teams, but can also work independently and take ownership of projects. You are not afraid to speak up and ask questions, and you welcome being challenged, if it improves your understanding and makes the work better.

You take initiative and if you've committed to something, it gets done thoughtfully and thoroughly because you take pride in your work and feel responsible towards the people and places your data ultimately serves.

Precision and integrity matter to you, as you'd rather flag a flaw than let it slide, and you hold yourself to the same standard you expect of others.

You ask "why" before "how". Complex systems and dynamic situations draw you in rather than intimidate you, and you're comfortable moving between technical depth and the bigger picture.

You also bring a creative streak to problem-solving, as you're drawn to elegant, well-crafted and reliable solutions with your own thoughtful or innovative stamp on them.
