Position Summary – Entrepreneur-in-Residence (EIR)
EarthON Foundation seeks a highly motivated, entrepreneurial professional to work closely with the founders and leadership team on venture building, business development, and strategic initiatives. The EIR will support research, strategy, and startup creation while playing a key role in designing and executing ecosystem events such as challenges, bootcamps, innovation workshops, demo days, and partner convenings. This role offers hands-on exposure to impact entrepreneurship and ecosystem development, contributing directly to scaling sustainable enterprises across India and the Global South.

Key Responsibilities
Market Research: Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, industry gaps, and potential business opportunities within the AI ecosystem.
Founder Support: Provide direct assistance and support to the company’s founders in executing their vision, managing priorities, and driving strategic initiatives.
Strategic Planning: Assist in the development and execution of strategic plans, including market entry strategies, product roadmaps, and growth initiatives.
Opportunity Assessment: Evaluate the feasibility and viability of new business ideas, products, or services through market analysis, competitor benchmarking, and customer validation.
Business Development: Collaborate with the founders to identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and strategic alliances.
Operational Support: Provide operational support as needed, including organizing meetings, managing schedules, and handling administrative tasks.
Project Management: Take ownership of specific projects or initiatives as assigned by the founders, driving them to successful completion with attention to detail and quality; support cross-functional coordination and innovation initiatives.
Event & Ecosystem Support: Support the planning, coordination, and execution of ecosystem events, workshops, demo days, and stakeholder engagements, including logistics coordination, participant communication, and post-event documentation.
Documentation and Reporting: Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings, progress, and recommendations to internal stakeholders and investors.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, external partners, and senior leadership, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and teamwork.

Education Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship, Management, Economics, Engineering, Environmental Studies, Sustainability, or a related field
Master’s degree (MBA, MS, M.Tech, MPP, or equivalent) in Entrepreneurship, Sustainability, Climate Change, Development Studies, or a related discipline is preferred.
Relevant professional certifications or specialized training in entrepreneurship, startup incubation, innovation management, climate solutions, or impact investing will be an added advantage
Preferred Skills & Competencies
- Experience with incubation, acceleration, or fellowship programs
- Familiarity with impact measurement and social enterprise models
- Exposure to fundraising, impact investing, or grant-based funding
- Ability to translate complex ideas into actionable business strategies
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to work across teams and geographies
Compensation
Annual CTC: 12-15 LPA per annum
Reimbursement: All official travel, accommodation, and logistics will be covered as per organisational policy.
Reporting To : Managing Director
Travel Requirements: Travel for partner meetings, reviews, events, or ecosystem engagements as required.
