.Position Summar

yThe Senior Manager – Policy & Advisory will lead EarthON Foundation's policy research, advisory, and knowledge practice. The role combines strategic thinking, research leadership, stakeholder engagement, business development, and policy advocacy

.The successful candidate will work closely with the leadership team to define the organization's policy vision, produce high-quality research and advisory outputs, represent EarthON in national and international forums, and develop partnerships that expand the organization's influence and impact

.This role is ideal for someone passionate about translating research into action and influencing the future of climate policy in India

.Key Responsibilitie

sPolicy Strategy & Thought Leadershi

  • pDevelop and drive EarthON Foundation's Policy & Advisory strategy and long-term vision
  • .Identify emerging policy opportunities and priority thematic areas across climate action, sustainable agriculture, clean energy, circular economy, carbon markets, nature-based solutions, and green entrepreneurship
  • .Build EarthON's thought leadership through evidence-based policy recommendations and strategic insights
  • .Advise internal teams on policy implications for ongoing programs and investments

.Research & Knowledge Managemen

tLead a multidisciplinary research team to produce high-quality knowledge products, including

  • .Present the organization's perspectives to policymakers, donors, investors, industry leaders, and ecosystem stakeholders
  • .Build strategic relationships with government agencies, research institutions, think tanks, academia, and industry bodies
  • .Position EarthON as a trusted policy and advisory partner within the climate ecosystem

.Business Development & Fundraisin

  • gIdentify advisory assignments, research grants, and funding opportunities
  • .Lead proposal development, concept notes, technical bids, and funding applications
  • .Coordinate with program and finance teams to prepare high-quality technical and financial proposals
  • .Track opportunities through the complete business development lifecycle until closure

.Required Qualification

  • sMaster's degree or higher in Climate Policy, Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Public Policy, Economics, Sustainability, Development Studies, or related fields
  • .7–10 years of relevant experience in climate policy, sustainability, public policy, environmental advisory, or development consulting
  • .Experience leading research projects and managing small to medium-sized multidisciplinary teams
  • .Demonstrated experience engaging with government institutions, donors, and ecosystem stakeholders
