Senior Product Manager - Carbon Programs
This is an opportunity to bring real change to the world and help stop the accelerating climate change. We are bringing the farming world into a data-driven future to reverse soil degradation, reduce chemical overuse and reduce the carbon footprint of farmers.
We’re hiring a Senior Product Manager to lead our carbon programs for value chain decarbonisation. You’ll build products that enable corporations to reduce and report emissions using real farm data. A key part of the role is interpreting and implementing carbon program methodologies (e.g., Verra VM0042) into compliant data models, workflows and user experiences.
You’ll own the product vision and roadmap at the intersection of on-farm data, carbon methodologies and corporate emissions accounting, directly shaping farming practices and food-sector climate goals.
? What You’ll Do
- Define product strategy, vision and success metrics for carbon programs.
- Own and translate carbon program rules into product logic and workflows.
- Work with carbon experts to apply methodologies into eligibility checks, monitoring, calculations and audit trails.
- Understand customer needs across food companies, banks and partners; identify opportunities within program constraints.
- Lead discovery and delivery with Engineering, Data and Agronomy teams.
- Turn complex carbon requirements into simple dashboards, workflows and APIs.
- Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success and Operations teams on offers, pilots and scalable rollouts.
- Track KPIs (adoption, emissions impact, compliance, retention) and iterate.
- Support go-to-market with positioning and enablement.
- Act as the internal and external expert on carbon program rules and their implementation.
? About You
- 5+ years in B2B SaaS product management, ideally with complex data/workflows.
- Skilled at translating detailed standards into clear product and system requirements.
- Comfortable with ambiguity; experienced in building or scaling products.
- Strong in customer discovery and prioritization, with the ability to say “no” when needed.
- Strategic yet hands-on; data-driven decision-maker.
- Clear communicator across technical, business and agricultural contexts.
- Curious and motivated to learn carbon methodologies like VM0042.
- Great English communication skills.
- Located in Estonia.
⭐ Nice To Have
Experience in climate tech, carbon markets, ESG, agri-food, supply chains, remote sensing, soil models, or start-up environments.
? What’s in it for you?
- A position with real world impact.
- Flexible working hours, as long as the job gets done.
- Great offices in Tartu and Tallinn, but a remote-friendly working environment.
- Competitive package - competitive salary, benefits, and potential stock options.
- A small team where your impact will be felt, and you’ll work with people who genuinely care.
