Job Summary

e2o Energy Group and e2o Mechanical are seeking a full-time Sales Representative to build relationships with commercial and industrial facilities, identify HVAC and energy-efficiency opportunities, and guide clients through projects that improve performance and reduce operating costs—often with the help of utility-funded incentives.



About the Company

e2o Energy Group provides energy-efficiency consulting and implementation services, including Advanced Rooftop Controls (ARC) projects that help schools and commercial buildings reduce energy use.
e2o Mechanical is our sister division specializing in commercial HVAC service, repairs, replacements, and tune-ups. Together, we offer turnkey solutions that make buildings more efficient, reliable, and cost-effective.


Responsibilities Business Development

  • Identify and qualify commercial prospects such as schools, hospitals, office buildings, warehouses, and manufacturing facilities.
  • Generate new opportunities through outreach, networking, referrals, and industry events.
  • Maintain accurate sales activity and pipeline updates in the CRM.



Customer Engagement

  • Meet with facility directors, property managers, and administrators to understand HVAC and operational needs.
  • Build long-term customer relationships and support repeat business.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between clients and internal estimating, engineering, and project teams.



Solution Selling

  • Participate in onsite assessments with technical teams.
  • Present ARC solutions and explain available utility incentives that commonly fund a large portion of project costs.
  • Communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.



Proposals and Closing

  • Prepare proposals, bids, and cost estimates in coordination with internal teams.
  • Highlight energy savings, operational improvements, and project ROI.
  • Negotiate terms, close contracts, and meet assigned sales goals.



Project Coordination

  • Ensure a smooth handoff to operations for installation and scheduling.
  • Support customers through application, installation, and training stages.



Continuous Learning

  • Stay knowledgeable about HVAC technologies, energy-efficiency programs, and utility incentive offerings.



Qualifications

  • B2B sales experience preferred (HVAC, energy services, or facility management experience is helpful).
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Organized, self-directed, and comfortable managing a sales pipeline.
  • Interest in energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost-saving solutions.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for site visits.
