Position Overview:
We are seeking skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team for ongoing commercial electrical projects. As a Journeyman Electrician at E-MC Electrical, you will play a critical role in the installation, maintenance, and finalization of electrical systems across various industries, ensuring safety, efficiency, and quality in every task.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical wiring systems in commercial settings.
- Collaborate with project managers and other team members to ensure timely project completion.
- Ensure all installations comply with local, state, and national electrical codes.
- Conduct inspections and tests to ensure the functionality and safety of electrical systems.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to apprentices and junior electricians.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and company policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid Journeyman Electrician license.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical codes and safety standards.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical diagrams.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Siemens fire alarm systems.
- Familiarity with building automation systems.
- Experience in solar and EV charging station installations.
