POSITION: Business Development Manager - Industrial

Founded in 2014, DWS Energy is a rapidly expanding, multi-disciplinary electrical construction company focused on electrical pre-fabrication services in our UL-508A certified panel shop, commercial building controls installation, and commercial solar. The organization has expanded its service offerings throughout its tenure and continues to grow at an accelerated rate.

OVERVIEW:                       

As Business Development Manager – Industrial, you will spearhead the growth of our electrical fabrication division. This strategic role combines technical expertise with relationship-building and sales acumen to expand our customer base, drive revenue, and ensure client satisfaction.

OUTCOMES: Business Development Manager is responsible for:

•  Build and maintain strong industry relationships
• Represent DWS Energy at trade shows and professional associations
• Achieve and exceed sales targets
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities
• Develop and deliver technical sales presentations
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM system
• Collaborate with operations to prepare detailed estimates and proposals
• Provide responsive communication and post-delivery support to clients
• Work with engineering and production teams to resolve issues and develop custom solutions
• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and procurement for product development support

QUALIFICATIONS: The following are required skills and qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in related field (or equivalent experience) is preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electrical/industrial sales.
• In-depth knowledge of UL-508A standards and industrial control systems.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and design/estimating software is a plus.

REQUIREMENTS: The following are physical requirements:

• Manual dexterity to operate tools, equipment, and computer systems.
• Ability to visit client facilities and/or industrial sites.
• Willing to travel as required to support client needs.
• Strong negotiation skills and results-driven mindset.
• Excellent listening and comprehension abilities.
