About the Opportunity

A fast-growing commodities trading firm operating within the environmental and renewable commodities markets is looking to hire commercially driven Sales Traders to join its growing Power desk in Amsterdam.


This opportunity is ideal for candidates with 2–4 years of experience within environmental commodities, renewable energy trading, brokerage, or adjacent energy markets who are looking to join a fast-paced and entrepreneurial trading environment.


Key responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with clients and counterparties across the Polish market
  • Trade and broker environmental and renewable commodity products including Guarantees of Origin (GOs), International Renewable Energy Certificates (I-RECs), White Certificates, environmental certificates and related products.
  • Identify and develop new commercial opportunities through proactive business development
  • Conduct outbound client outreach and relationship management activities
  • Negotiate and execute commercial transactions
  • Monitor market activity, pricing trends, and regulatory developments
  • Coordinate closely with internal trading and operational teams to support transaction execution
  • Build long-term relationships with producers, suppliers, traders, and obligated counterparties


Candidate requirements

  • Fluent in Polish and English
  • 2–4 years of experience within environmental commodities, renewable energy markets, commodity brokerage, energy trading or sales trading
  • Strong commercial mindset with excellent communication and negotiation abilities
  • Ability to independently originate and close business opportunities
  • Applicants must already hold the right to work within the EU
