About Us

Dublin Port Company is a State-owned commercial entity with responsibility for the development and operation of Dublin Port. As Ireland’s largest freight and passenger port, we handle nearly 50% of national trade. Dublin Port operates in a highly competitive environment, providing essential national infrastructure as a Tier 1 port under National Ports Policy and part of the EU TEN-T Core Network.

Located at the heart of Dublin City and connected to the national road and rail networks, we are central to Ireland’s economic and logistical ecosystem. We are currently progressing our Masterplan towards 2040, with significant investment in infrastructure, sustainability, and digital transformation.

The Role

Dublin Port Company is seeking an ambitious Sustainability Project Manager to play a central role in delivering our sustainability vision for the Port and the wider community. This is a unique opportunity to help shape one of Ireland’s most strategically important infrastructures as we accelerate our transition to a more sustainable, resilient, and environmentally responsible future.

As a key member of our ESG team, you will lead and coordinate a diverse programme of sustainability initiatives that underpin the delivery of our Environmental, Sustainability and Governance (ESG) Strategy. In the early stages, your work will focus on environmental transformation projects, including port decarbonisation, biodiversity enhancement, climate adaptation, and broader environmental improvement initiatives, with scope to expand into wider ESG themes over time.

You will work collaboratively across the organisation and engage closely with customers, state agencies, regulators, and the broader Dublin Port community. A core part of the role is understanding stakeholder needs, supporting them in achieving their own sustainability ambitions, and ensuring Dublin Port Company is positioned as a leader and enabler of sustainable change. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on driving transformation, influencing positive environmental outcomes, and turning strategic sustainability commitments into real‑world impact.
