Founding Sales Representative
LED Lighting & Energy Efficiency
Full Time | Augusta, GA | $36,000 + Commission | Target OTE $70k-$80k
Who We Are
DTL Energy Solutions helps schools, municipalities, and commercial buildings reduce energy costs through LED lighting conversions, electrical upgrades, and rebate-funded efficiency programs. Our partnerships with utilities like Dominion Energy and Georgia Power allow many customers to complete projects with up to 70% funding support— making high-impact energy upgrades affordable.
We’ve built a strong foundation and backlog in Georgia and South Carolina. Now we're expanding in Augusta, and we’re searching for a founding sales professional who wants to build a territory and grow into a leadership seat as we scale.

You’ll help design the Augusta sales playbook, build the customer base, and position yourself to become our first full-time Account Executive or Regional Sales Leader.

What You’ll Do
• Prospect schools, governments, local businesses, & property managers
• Conduct lighting/site assessments (training provided)
• Source utility rebate information & project details
• Work with estimating to prepare pricing + ROI
• Manage pipeline in HubSpot CRM
• Attend local networking & community events
• Help shape our brand presence in Augusta

30–60 Days
• 10–15 meaningful outreach activities per week
• 4–6 scheduled assessments per month
• Fully active CRM pipeline
60–90 Days
• 1–2 closed projects/month
• $30,000 in revenue/month
• Pipeline value of 3x monthly close target
Your Path to success:
High activity - More proposals = more opportunities to earn
Quality selling - Strong margins = bonus money

Compensation & Support
$36,000 Base Salary (paid weekly) + Commission + Bonuses
• 6% of project revenue
• 2% margin bonus when >40% margin
• Bonuses for multi-site commercial deals
• Mileage reimbursement
• Company laptop + phone reimbursement

On-Target Earnings: $75K–$85K annually

Who You Are
• 2–5 years in B2B or commercial service sales preferred
• Enjoy meeting people face-to-face around town
• Comfortable in facilities, campuses, and jobsite environments

Requirements
• Valid driver’s license + reliable transportation
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Comfortable accessing building lighting fixtures (with safety training)
