$75,000 - $85,000/year ($36k base + commission + bonuses)

We help schools, municipalities, and commercial buildings across Georgia and South Carolina reduce energy costs by 30-70% through LED lighting conversions and energy efficiency upgrades. Our partnerships with Georgia Power and Dominion Energy provide customers with significant rebate funding, making high-impact projects affordable.
We're expanding in Augusta and need a driven commercial sales professional to build and own this territory.
The Role: Commercial LED Lighting Sales
This is an outside sales position where you'll prospect, qualify, and close energy efficiency projects with commercial clients including:
- Schools and municipal facilities
- Warehouses and industrial buildings
- Retail centers and office buildings
- Property management companies
What You'll Do:
- Prospect and qualify commercial leads through outreach, networking, and referrals
- Conduct on-site lighting assessments and energy audits (training provided)
- Present ROI-based proposals showcasing energy savings and rebate funding
- Manage sales pipeline in HubSpot CRM from lead to close
- Build relationships with facility managers, school administrators, and business owners
- Attend local business networking events in Augusta area
- Work with internal team on project estimating and rebate applications
Your Sales Targets:
- Months 1-3: Build pipeline, close 1-2 projects/month ($30k+ revenue)
- Months 4-6: Close 3-4 projects/month ($50k+ revenue)
- Year 1 Goal: $540k in annual sales (30 projects averaging $18k)
Compensation - Uncapped Earning Potential
Base Salary: $36,000/year (paid weekly)
Commission Structure:
- 6% commission on all project revenue (no cap)
- 8% on revenue above $600k annually
- $500 bonus per project with 45%+ profit margin
- $250 bonus per project over $40k
On-Target Earnings Year 1: $75,000 - $85,000
Top Performer Potential Year 1: $95,000+
Year 2+ Earnings: $100,000 - $120,000+

Requirements
Must Have:
- 2+ years B2B or commercial sales experience (construction, services, or energy preferred)
- Proven track record meeting/exceeding sales quotas
- Comfortable with consultative, relationship-based selling
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
- Comfortable conducting site visits in industrial/commercial facilities
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
