Program Background
KINETIK, the Australia-Indonesia Climate and Sustainable Infrastructure Partnership, supports Indonesia to strengthen sustainable infrastructure systems, mobilise climate-aligned investment, and advance low-emissions and climate-resilient development. Working with the Government of Indonesia (GOI) and a broad network of public and private partners, the program seeks to expand investment in sustainable infrastructure while ensuring the inclusion of local communities, particularly women, girls and people with disabilities.
KINETIK contributes to three inter-related End of Program Outcomes (EOPOs):
KINETIK is supported by the Australian Government’s Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade (DFAT) and implemented by DT Global.

The Role
The Program Manager is a senior role within KINETIK, responsible for supporting the effective planning, design, governance, delivery and performance management of assigned portfolios, activities and operational initiatives. The role works across the full activity lifecycle, helping ensure that work planning, budgeting, procurement, contracting, subcontractor management, reporting, risk management and records are delivered in a timely, compliant and well-coordinated manner. The Program Manager provides operational oversight and quality assurance to support effective portfolio delivery, value-for-money decision making, strong internal controls and alignment with DFAT, DT Global and KINETIK requirements.
The Program Manager is expected to coordinate effectively with technical leads, advisers, subcontractors, DFAT, Government of Indonesia counterparts, KINETIK Partners and others, fostering a collaborative, high-performing and inclusive culture that integrates GEDSI, locally led development, safeguarding, ethical conduct and evidence-based decision making across program operations.

About You
Essential Experience and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum 10-year experience managing complex programs, projects or operational functions.
- Experience in procurement, contracting, budgeting and compliance.
- Strong understanding of governance, risk management and operational controls.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams and engaging stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Experience on DFAT-funded or similar donor-funded programs.
- Experience supporting senior organisational leadership and business operations.
- Experience leading organisational improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Experience in Indonesia or Southeast Asia.
- Bahasa Indonesia proficiency
