We can offer you a rare opportunity to develop your career by working on some of the leading sustainability projects in Australia. Your role will include management of sustainable buildings projects, technical analysis of sustainability solutions, and delivery of sustainable solutions for clients. 


 With a passion for sustainability, technical analysis, and building simulation, you will have the following:

  •  A degree level education in engineering (mechanical or related field).
  • 2+ years experience in a consulting environment (ESD or mechanical services background) — role title and responsibilities will be tailored based on your level of experience (Intermediate through to Experienced/Senior).
  • Detailed understanding of the NCC, particularly Section J compliance and JV3 modelling.
  • Proficiency in energy modelling software (such as IES VE or DesignBuilder) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the confidence to manage project deliverables on time and on budget.
  • Passion for problem solving through technical analysis and building computer simulation.


We actively encourage applications from mechanical services engineers who possess strong technical fundamentals, a good grasp of building physics, and a desire to transition into specialist building simulation and sustainability consulting.


Additional experience that will be viewed favourably:

  • Mechanical services design background.
  • Detailed understanding of NABERS and Accredited Assessor status.
  • Experience with voluntary sustainability rating tools (Green Star, LEED, WELL).
  • Experience building custom tools with Rhino & Grasshopper (e.g. Ladybug Tools).
  • Solar PV system analysis and net-zero carbon strategies.
