Head of Procurement (m/f/d)

Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to negotiate optimal value and ensure the quality of purchased goods and services. Track and evaluate supplier performance, financial stability, and contractual compliance; Serve as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to Project Managers and Estimators. Collaborate with Project Managers to plan and fulfill project-specific procurement needs in alignment with schedules. Identify, assess, and mitigate vendor-related risks. Partner with Operations and Project Management teams to ensure quality standards are met and address any non-conformance promptly. Participate in and coordinate project planning meetings. Conduct site inspections; review and coordinate design evaluations across disciplines for code compliance and adherence to contract requirements. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; contribute to the development of procurement policies and best practices, and resolve policy-related issues effectively.
