Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and analyze relevant EU funding opportunities, particularly under Horizon Europe
- Structure, write, and edit high-quality project proposals, with emphasis on the sections of Excellence, Impact, and Implementation
- Collaborate closely with internal scientific experts, IT teams, project managers, and external partners (academia, industry, NGOs) to gather inputs and ensure overall coherence
- Coordinate the proposal development process across large consortia, setting deadlines and monitoring contributions from all partners
- Organize and lead proposal preparation meetings, aligning stakeholders and clarifying requirements
- Develop persuasive narratives that effectively communicate scientific excellence, innovation potential, and societal/environmental impact
- Ensure full compliance with call requirements, templates, formatting, and submission guidelines
- Contribute to consortium building, partner search, and capability mapping
- Prepare budgets and work plans in collaboration with financial and technical teams
- Support the development of dissemination, exploitation, and communication strategies within proposals
- Actively expand the organization's network of partners and collaborators across Europe
- Bachelor's degree in European Studies, Political Science, Environmental Science, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
- Proven track record in preparing successful Horizon 2020 / Horizon Europe proposals (as main or key contributing writer)
- In-depth knowledge of EU funding programmes, guidelines, and evaluation criteria
- Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills in English, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and persuasive language
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple deadlines simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with multidisciplinary and international teams
- Established network in the European research and innovation ecosystem
- MSc or PhD in a relevant field
- Familiarity with EU policy priorities in digital transformation, climate action, and sustainability
- Experience in coordinating proposal development processes across large consortia
- Knowledge of project management or evaluation methodologies
