Job Description

The Development team is seeking a detail-oriented Development Operations Coordinator to support our portfolio of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects. Reporting to senior leadership within the Early Stage and Advanced Development teams, this role will be responsible for providing critical pipeline management, financial tracking, and team-wide operational support that enables the Development team to operate efficiently and effectively. This is an operational role focused on group efficiency, offering hands-on exposure to the renewable energy development process while supporting a rapidly growing portfolio of projects.

Responsibilities

Administrative & Operational Support

  • Provide administrative support to the Development team.
  • Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate internal and external calls.
  • Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and notes as needed.
  • Periodic office visits to support Development team.

Pipeline & Administrative Support

  • Project Management: Oversee the investment committee project approval process, including scheduling, confirming follow-ups, and ensuring all prospects are tracked from initiation to handoff to Construction.
  • Meeting Coordination: Lead the agenda coordination for periodic Development meetings and track associated action items.
  • Executive Reporting: Draft monthly development reports for senior leadership review, synthesizing updates and data from across the team.

Data & Document Operations

  • Financial Tracking: Liaise with the Accounting department to manage monthly cost-gathering and project spend tracking.
  • Asset Management: Maintain and advertise all shared team documents (e.g., brochures, FAQs, etc.), ensuring the most current versions are accessible to the group.
  • Project Documentation: Support the routing, execution, and filing of development agreements (land agreements, NDAs, consultant contracts).
  • Project Support: Maintain project trackers, contact lists, and development schedules.

Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as a point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, including consultants, landowners, and local partners.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (Legal, Finance, Accounting, HR) to ensure development activities move forward without friction.

General Team Support

  • Support process improvement efforts to enhance overall team efficiency.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality regarding sensitive company and project information.

Required Skills and Values

Required

  • 2–5 years of experience in project coordination, business operations, or a technical administrative support role .
  • Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously.
  • High proficiency in all Microsoft Office & Applications and other platforms (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneDrive, Power BI, Sway, Adobe, various Project Management Data Platforms)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship.

Preferred

  • Experience working with document management systems or project tracking tools.
  • Familiarity with the renewable energy industry or real estate development.
  • Experience in a fast-growing , entrepreneurial environment.
