We are looking for an Agricultural Engineer to join our Climate & Sustainability Impact (CSI) team in Izmir as a Digital Agronomist, supporting farmer engagement, high-quality data collection, and the effective execution of sustainability-focused agricultural projects. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and comfort with digital tools and data systems.

The role combines agronomic knowledge with structured digital workflows and farmer engagement.

Main Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular phone-based communication with farmers within project scopes and collect required agronomic and operational data
  • Ensure that all collected data is accurately, completely, and meticulously recorded in relevant systems without room for error
  • Respond to farmers’ questions, requests, and feedback remotely in a timely and accurate manner
  • Deliver remote and in-person training sessions and informational briefings for farmers when required
  • Provide active support to CSI project operations and remotely managed agricultural processes
  • Collaborate closely with technical and client-facing teams


Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering, Master's degree is an advantage
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel
  • Good level of English (written and spoken)
  • Prior experience in agriculture-related projects is a plus
  • Strong verbal communication skills, particularly for phone-based farmer interactions
  • High attention to detail and strong accuracy in data entry and reporting
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • Familiarity with digital tools and data-driven workflows
  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong sense of responsibility
  • Structured, disciplined, and solution-oriented approach
