About the Role
We are looking for a highly organized, analytical, and dynamic Agricultural Operations and Technical Program Specialist to coordinate and drive the operational execution of our global agricultural and sustainability programs.
Working closely with Program Managers, agronomists, field teams, farmers, and technical teams, the role takes hands-on ownership of program planning, field coordination, data quality, operational risks, and process improvement to ensure timely and effective delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end planning, coordination, and monitoring of project operations and field activities.
- Plan field activities according to project requirements, timelines, and agricultural needs.
- Coordinate field team workload, priorities, and capacity to ensure effective execution.
- Review and validate field data for accuracy, completeness, and timely submission.
- Monitor operational efficiency, identify bottlenecks, delays, and risks, and take corrective actions.
- Coordinate training activities for field teams and relevant project stakeholders.
- Manage device logistics, including deployment, installation, maintenance, tracking, and collection.
- Work closely with Program Managers, agronomists, farmers, field teams, and technical teams to ensure smooth project delivery.
- Maintain accurate project records and use Excel and other digital tools for tracking, analysis, and reporting.
- Coordinate travel and logistics for field visits, meetings, and project activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, operations, data/analytics, agricultural sciences, or another relevant field.
- Agricultural education or experience is not mandatory, but candidates should be able to quickly develop a practical understanding of agricultural processes and field activities.
- Experience in operations, project coordination, field operations, or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong analytical, planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Very good command of English, written and spoken.
