About the Role
We are looking to hire a dedicated International Business Development Manager who will lead our International Growth team. The ideal candidate is a dynamic, organized, and results-oriented professional with proven experience in building overseas dealer networks and expanding corporate presence in global markets. You will be responsible for establishing and managing a robust distributor ecosystem, driving international growth initiatives, and representing Doktar at key industry events worldwide.
The position may be based in Europe, Netherlands or Turkey (hybrid or remote) and will require some international travel.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Design and execute international business development strategies that grow Doktar’s footprint and revenue across target regions.
- Develop, onboard and manage a network of dealers, distributors, and strategic partners, ensuring alignment with company goals and performance standards.
- Develop market-entry roadmaps, analyze competitive landscapes, and pinpoint high-potential opportunities in the global agriculture sector.
- Set clear channel targets, monitor KPIs, and implement performance-improvement plans for dealer networks.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, pricing models, and incentive structures to maximize mutual profitability.
- Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to localize solutions, optimize go-to-market plans, and ensure partner enablement.
- Represent Doktar at international fairs, conferences, and industry events, delivering compelling presentations and product demos.
- Prepare regular pipeline and performance reports for senior management, highlighting risks, opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
- Provide after-sales support, ensuring partner satisfaction and long-term relationship growth.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, International Business, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5–10 years of experience in international business development or channel management, ideally within the agriculture or agri-tech sector.
- Demonstrated success in building and managing distributor or dealer networks across multiple countries, preferably in Europe and/or MENA.
- Excellent written and verbal English; additional languages are an asset.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Proficiency in CRM platforms and MS Office applications; familiarity with market-intelligence tools is a plus.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to translate market insights into actionable business plans.
- High level of organization, attention to detail, and a proactive, hands-on approach.
- Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
