About The Role

The GHG Auditor will conduct verification and validation of greenhouse gas inventories, emission reduction projects, and carbon footprint assessments in accordance with ISO 14064, ISO 14067, and Thailand Greenhouse Gas Management Organization (TGO) requirements. This role requires close collaboration within a small, specialized team to deliver high-quality verification services to clients across various sectors. The position involves engaging with clients, project teams, and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with national and international GHG standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct third-party audits and verifications under ISO 14064-1, ISO 14064-3, and TGO validation and verification schemes
  • Evaluate GHG data, emission factors, and calculation methodologies across scopes 1, 2, and 3
  • Review project documentation, activity data, and supporting evidence for accuracy and completeness
  • Perform carbon footprint assessments in alignment with ISO 14067 and related TGO guidelines
  • Collaborate effectively with team members on complex audit assignments and knowledge sharing
  • Provide technical guidance on regulatory compliance, mitigation strategies, and climate reporting frameworks
  • Prepare audit findings, verification reports, and recommendations in both Thai and English
  • Coordinate with clients, government agencies, and certification bodies throughout the audit process
  • Support continuous improvement of internal audit methodologies and quality assurance processes

About You

Education & Experience:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Environmental Engineering, or related field

Minimum 2-4 years of experience in GHG auditing, verification, or environmental management

Demonstrated experience with ISO 14064 and/or ISO 14067 audits; familiarity with TGO verification procedures

Technical Competencies

Strong understanding of Thailand's environmental laws, climate change policies, and GHG reporting frameworks

Knowledge of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodologies and carbon footprint calculation

Experience with GHG quantification methodologies following IPCC guidelines and emission factors

Familiarity with Thailand's National Strategy on Climate Change and Energy Conservation Promotion Act .

Professional Skills

Proven ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with cross-functional stakeholders

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

Strong team spirit and collaborative mindset to work effectively in a small, close-knit team environment

Good command of both Thai and English, with professional communication and report writing skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, data analysis tools, and auditing software.

Preferred Qualifications

Certification or registration as a TGO-approved verifier

Prior experience working with ISO-accredited verification bodies (ISO 14065 or ISO 17029)

Knowledge of T-VER (Thailand Voluntary Emission Reduction) program requirements

Understanding of SEC environmental disclosure requirements under Thailand's One Report framework .
