About Diverxia

Diverxia is a global renewable energy developer with a proven track record of delivering solar and energy storage projects across multiple international markets. Backed by experienced leadership and technical teams, we focus on developing high-quality, scalable energy infrastructure that supports the transition to a more sustainable energy future.

Working at Diverxia U.S.

In the United States, Diverxia operates as a growing and focused development platform. Our team works in a highly collaborative, agile environment where individuals take ownership, contribute across multiple stages of development, and adapt quickly as markets evolve. This role offers the opportunity to be part of a hands-on team with the backing of a global organization, helping to build and scale our U.S. pipeline.

This role is based in Charlotte, North Carolina. Remote arrangements may be considered depending on the candidate’s location, particularly if aligned with active or target development areas. Given the collaborative nature of the U.S. team, candidates should be open to transitioning to the Charlotte area over time.

  • Support and refine market-specific development strategies across target states, including Massachusetts, Illinois, Wisconsin, New York, and Maryland
  • Manage interconnection processes, including pre-applications, application submissions, and coordination with utilities and engineers
  • Develop and execute permitting strategies, including zoning analysis, AHJ engagement, and consultant coordination
  • Work closely with land acquisition teams to evaluate site viability and support lease structuring
  • Coordinate with engineering teams and third-party consultants to advance project design and technical deliverables
  • Track and manage project timelines, ensuring alignment across interconnection, permitting, and development milestones
  • Identify and mitigate key project risks related to interconnection, permitting, and site constraints
  • Support evaluation of offtake structures, incentive programs, and evolving market conditions
  • Contribute to portfolio-level strategy, including pipeline prioritization and development sequencing

You are the perfect fit if you meet these requirements:

  • 2–4 years of experience in solar project development, renewable energy, or a related field
  • Strong understanding of distributed generation (DG) markets and development processes
  • Familiarity with interconnection processes and utility requirements (experience in MISO, PJM, or ISO-NE preferred)
