Reworld offers comprehensive industrial material management services to companies seeking solutions to some of today's most complex environmental challenges. With a nationwide network of treatment, recycling, and Energy-from-Waste facilities, Reworld enables customers to mitigate risk and reach their sustainability goals. The Field Services Technician I is responsible for the clean-up and transportation of Hazardous and Non-Hazardous waste. The Field Services Technicians will be expected to perform confined space entry, work hands-on, and operate a variety of equipment which may include but is not limited to pressure indicators, pressure washers, hand trucks, forklifts, and power tools. Responsibilities:
- Handle, package, and transport Hazardous and Non-Hazardous materials.
- Utilize pressure washer, hydro blast equipment, forklift, skid loader, and specialty vacuum equipment.
- Complete critical path documentation, including manifests, driver logs, job summaries, and permits.
- Communicate with the Project Manager and on-site customers.
- Perform work in confined space entries and utilize mechanics, industrial hygiene instrumentation, pneumatic tools, electrical tools, and hand tools.
- Adhere to requirements of Company policies and procedures, OSHA, and all local, state, and federal laws.
- High School Diploma / GED required.
- Must be 21 years or older, due to interstate travel in a commercial vehicle and federal regulations.
- Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
- Valid state driver's license required.
- Possess 40 HR HAZWOP certification.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
- Effectively work in a team setting.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to pass a respirator fit test.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, including occasional overnight travel (with ample advanced notice)
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use sound judgment and problem-solve in a fast-paced environment.
