Now Hiring: Construction Project Manager (Level 5)

Northern Virginia | Hybrid (4 Days Onsite)

Contract Role | 12 Months (Extension Possible)

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to support large-scale data center construction projects in Northern Virginia. This role works closely with a senior Lease Construction Manager and focuses on execution, coordination, reporting, and operational readiness. It is ideal for professionals looking to advance into senior construction leadership roles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Track construction milestones, RFS dates, and early access requirements
  • Conduct weekly site visits to assess progress against schedules
  • Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and action trackers
  • Monitor risks, delays, budgets, and contractor performance
  • Coordinate with internal teams (IT, Security) and external partners
  • Support sequencing for early-access and readiness activities
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards, compliance audits, and reporting
  • Validate invoices against approved scopes and budgets
  • Track lease partner deliverables and escalate discrepancies
  • Prepare meeting notes, follow-ups, and stakeholder communications
  • Use reporting tools (e.g., dashboards, automation) to improve visibility and predictability

Required Qualifications

  • 8–12 years of construction project management experience
  • Strong knowledge of MEP systems (electrical & mechanical fundamentals)
  • Experience with core & shell construction
  • Proven ability to manage schedules, risks, and multi-stakeholder coordination
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; willingness to learn reporting/automation tools
  • Degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferred)
