Qualifications:

  • Enrolled in a bachelor’s or master’s degree program in the environmental sciences, sustainable business, food and agriculture, or environmental engineering, or other related program. 
  • Position requires physical presence at our office in Excelsior, Minnesota.
  • Proficient in G-suite and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of sustainability concepts, including climate change and greenhouse gas emissions, water use and management, soil health, regenerative agriculture, waste reduction and recycling, product lifecycles and supply chains, and social impact. 
  • Strong research, writing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and summarize complex information.
  • Passion for helping business serve as a catalyst for change to make a positive impact on people and the planet.
  • Knowledge of environmental, social, and economic policy and how it applies to sustainability.
  • Digital content creation and social media savvy.
  • Business and economics acumen.


Position Summary:

DevryBV Sustainable Strategies offers clients comprehensive sustainability/ESG consulting services and helps organizations design holistic strategies that build profitable and sustainable businesses. The Sustainability Intern will work with the DevryBV team to support the development of sustainable business strategies, programs, and communications to serve current and future clients. 


Responsibilities:

  • Research topics related to sustainability and ESG and distill them into written summary documents to serve clients and/or the broader DevryBV team. 
  • Client relations: attend and participate in client meetings and communicate with clients as needed per direction from the DevryBV team.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of project deliverables related to clients’ sustainability needs and work plans.
