Position: HV Design Manager

Location: Sydney

Salary: $180k + super + paid overtime

Proejct Value: $40m–$220m.

Design & Build Recruitment are partnering with a national EPC contractor delivering wind farms, BESS, hybrid microgrids, HV substations and integrated generation projects across Australia.

Due to continued growth and larger, more complex project awards, they are seeking a HV Design Manager to lead design delivery across multiple concurrent projects.

As the Design Manager, you will:

  • Oversee design strategy and engineering governance across HV and renewable projects
  • Allocate resources across multiple disciplines to meet schedule and budget
  • Act as the primary technical interface between engineering, construction and clients
  • Drive consistency across design standards, processes and risk management

What They’re Looking For

  • 4+ years of experience in the mining, electrical utility, resource or renewables sectors
  • Degree-qualified Electrical Engineer
  • Extensive HV infrastructure experience (33kV–132kV+)
  • Strong understanding of full EPC project lifecycle
  • Proven ability to coordinate multi-disciplinary teams
  • Confident client-facing capability
