Role Description
This is a remote volunteer role for a Resource Mobilization Specialist. The volunteer will be responsible for identifying and developing funding opportunities, building and maintaining relationships with donors, and creating strategies to secure resources to support DYIU's programs. Additional tasks include writing grant proposals, seeking sponsorships and partnerships, and developing innovative fundraising online and physical campaigns.

Qualifications
- Strong analytical skills in fundraising and resource mobilization plans
- Excellent communication skills and ability to engage with stakeholders and partners effectively
- Customer service skills for relationship management with supporters and donors
- Resource management and allocation skills to ensure efficient use of funds and resources
- Experience in delivering training and capacity building related to fundraising and resource acquisition
- Proven ability to work independently and remotely
- Prior experience in the non-profit, fundraising, or community development sectors is a plus
- Familiarity with grant writing and reporting is desirable
