The Transport Sustainability and Strategic Projects Office (TSSPO) leads sustainability strategy across the Transport Portfolio. We drive ESG outcomes, champion innovation, support consistent use of sustainability tools, and coordinate research in key sustainability areas.


We also lead the transport response to Government climate policy - shaping emissions reduction strategies, guiding climate adaptation and risk planning, supporting decarbonisation in infrastructure programs, and fostering strong cross‑sector collaboration.


The Opportunity


Contribute to shaping a more sustainable transport future for Western Australia.


In this role, you’ll support delivery of strategic projects that drive climate, sustainability and ESG outcomes across the Transport Portfolio and the wider transport system. Working at the intersection of policy, strategy and analysis, you’ll contribute to project planning, undertake analysis and modelling, and collaborate with stakeholders across government and industry. This is an opportunity for an adaptable, outcomes‑focused project professional to influence key initiatives and deliver meaningful, long‑term benefits for the community.


There is currently 1 fixed term position available for immediate filling until 1 January 2028, with the possibility of extension(s) and/or permanency.
