Inertia Resources is a nationally recognized energy brokerage firm with an established presence across Texas, Boston, Rhode Island, and New York. As we continue our strategic expansion, we are launching a Philadelphia market and seeking a Director of Sales Operations to lead it.

This role offers full market ownership, meaningful leadership responsibility, and the backing of a proven national platform. The Director of Sales Operations will play a critical role in building regional presence, scaling revenue, and developing a high-performing sales team.

The Opportunity
You will be responsible for opening and leading a new market, setting the commercial strategy, and building a team of Account Executives who execute at a high level. This position is ideal for an experienced energy professional ready to step into broader leadership with long-term growth potential.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the launch and growth of Inertia’s Philadelphia market
  • Build, mentor, and manage a team of Account Executive
  • Drive new business development and oversee key client relationships
  • Establish sales processes, performance expectations, and operating rhythm
  • Own regional forecasting, revenue targets, and execution
  • Partner with executive leadership on expansion strategy

What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in the energy industry
  • Proven success as an energy broker
  • Prior sales or people leadership experience
  • Track record of growing revenue and developing talent
  • Strong business judgment, accountability, and ownership mindset

Compensation & Benefits
  • Base salary: $75,000–$125,000, depending on experience
