Experience: 5–10 Years
Domain: Utility-Scale PV Inverters | BESS PCS | Grid-Connected Converters
Are you an experienced Power Converter Control / Firmware Engineer ready to take ownership from system architecture to field deployment?
We are looking for a System Architect / System Designer to lead the control architecture and firmware development of MW-class PV Inverters and BESS Power Conversion Systems (PCS).
What You’ll Work On
• System & firmware architecture for MW-class PV Inverters and BESS PCS
• Grid-Following (GFL) & Grid-Forming (GFM) control strategies
• dq/vector control, current & voltage control, DC-link control and PLL
• Active/reactive power control, droop control and virtual impedance
• Black start, islanding and grid-connected/islanded transitions
• PV control: MPPT, DC-link, LVRT/HVRT, Volt-VAR, Volt-Watt
• BESS control: SOC/SOH-based power management, charge/discharge, derating and grid support
• Protection, fault handling, state machines and operating modes
• BMS / EMS / PPC integration
• Real-time control implementation on DSP/MCU/SoC platforms
• Embedded C/C++, RTOS and industrial communication protocols
• MIL/SIL/HIL validation using MATLAB/Simulink, PLECS, PSCAD, Typhoon HIL, OPAL-RT or dSPACE
• Grid-code implementation, certification, FAT/SAT and field commissioning
What We’re Looking For
✔ B.E./B.Tech/M.E./M.Tech in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Power Systems, Control Systems or related fields
✔ 5–10 years of relevant experience in power converter control / firmware / system design
✔ Strong hands-on experience with grid-connected converters
✔ Experience with MW-class PV Inverters, BESS PCS, STATCOM, wind converters or similar systems
✔ Strong understanding of grid codes and standards such as IEEE 1547, IEEE 519, IEC 62477, IEC 62109 and UL 1741
Highly Preferred
