Job Description

The Sales Manager is responsible for driving Delta’s growth in the region by developing and executing the local sales strategy, building and leading the sales team, and expanding market presence.

The role focuses on growing key customer and partner relationships, identifying new business opportunities, managing the full sales cycle, and ensuring achievement of revenue targets. You will also represent Delta in the market and work closely with internal stakeholders across Europe.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a sustainable business plan in accordance with Delta’s Industrial Automation BG overall plans in Europe and, more specifically in Czech Republic.
  • Develop the Czech Republic Sales team in line with the Delta business plans for the responsible region and growth expectations.
  • Implement the agreed business plan in the assigned areas, leveraging IABG product portfolio, core technologies and vertical markets competences.
  • Maintain excellent business relationships with the current regional partners, focusing on their growth and avoiding conflicts.
  • Develop new relationships with key prospects leveraging local presence, current partnerships and visible market share in the region.
  • Pursue business opportunities in the targeted segments, mainly focusing on mid-large size Machine Manufacturers and System Integrators. Process Automation is also a business domain where specific attention is required. A healthy projects pipeline is expected.
  • Coordinate and manage technical and commercial quotation activities.
  • Support in contract negotiations.
  • Achieve sales targets and revenue as agreed with the business leadership.
  • Represent Delta during conferences, trade shows, and industry networking events in responsible areas.
  • Interact with management across Delta organization.

Qualifications

  • At least 10 years of technical sales experience in the Industrial Automation industry, with expertise in PLC, HMI, motion controllers, frequency drives, and servo drives; knowledge of robotics and SCADA is a plus
  • Strong capabilities in sales, business development, and account management
  • Proven CRM experience
  • Engineering or technical degree (or equivalent qualification) preferred
  • Fluent in Czech and excellent command of English
  • Strong ability to build and maintain customer relationships, including negotiation and conflict resolution
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with strong interpersonal, communication, and intercultural competence
  • Well-developed organizational, planning, analytical, and presentation skills
  • Strong commitment to quality and results orientation
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills
